HEART PEARL NECKLACE WITH GOLD BEADS arranged in a stylish curve flowing from the little house on top of some white stones in the background, showing off the multiple coloured strand with brilliance contrast from the gold beads

CH0003 - Tahitian Keshi Pearl Necklace with Gold Beads 42cm

£958.00 GBP

First Light

This is a softly radiant strand of Tahitian Keshi pearls, hand-strung in a gentle gradient from approximately 3 to 5mm and spaced with warm 18k gold beads. It features a glowing multicoloured centre pearl, flanked by two heart-shaped pearls, and is finished with a sterling silver adjustable slider clasp. A refined design with quiet symbolism - perfect for celebrating balance, tenderness, and new beginnings.

There’s a quiet beauty in the way morning light first touches the sea - soft, silvered, shifting with hints of violet, rose and gold. First Light captures that moment.

This 42cm necklace is strung with lustrous Tahitian Keshi pearls, each one naturally formed without a nucleus and composed entirely of nacre. Their sizes range from approximately 3 to 5mm, and their colours shift from soft greys to stormy silvers with an iridescent glow that is subtle yet alive.

At its centre lies a striking focal: a multicoloured Tahitian Keshi pearl, flanked by two heart-shaped Keshi pearls, their forms organic and full of quiet symbolism. The strand is spaced with warm 18k gold beads, adding just a glint of luxury between the gentle rhythm of pearls.

The necklace closes with a sterling silver slider clasp and a 5cm extension, offering a refined fit and subtle adjustability. Every detail is considered - from the soft sheen of the pearls to the harmony of metal tones - making this piece both timeless and quietly distinctive.

Wear it as a daily touch of elegance, or to mark a new beginning.

First Light is about grace, intention, and the way beauty can emerge softly, yet stay with you all day.

Something about pearls

A little bit more about Tahitian pearl, South Sea pearl, and Keshi from both bivalves (according to GIA)

Although commonly known as Tahitian Black Pearl, its body colour varies from silver to black to green to purple, with multiple coloured overtone which not seen in other pearls from the same oyster family. From Pinctada margaritifera (black-lipped pearl oyster), Tahitian pearls are cultivated primarily around the islands of French Polynesia (the most familiar of which is Tahiti), these saltwater cultured pearls usually range from white to black. Other colours include dark metallic greens and purples (sometimes called aubergine). The usual size is about 8 mm to 17 mm, although larger pearls exist in limited quantities. (GIA: These overtones and/or secondary hues may be green, pink, purple, or a combination of colours leading to such exotic and descriptive terms as “Peacock,” “Aubergine,” or “Pistachio.” On rare occasions, white, brown, and yellow primary bodycolours with a range of overtones may also be found.)

South Sea pearls have much softer but equally shiny body colours of white, cream, silver, or golden. Produced by Pinctada maxima mollusk, commonly referred to as the “South Sea pearl oyster,” is the largest of the Pinctada genus. It has 2 common forms: Silver-lipped and gold-lipped, producing the white body-coloured pearls and golden body-coloured pearls.

There are bead-cultured pearl and non-bead-cultured pearl, also known in the trade as Keshi (Japanese for “poppyseed”) Pearls from both of the Pinctada genus, formed without being intentionally nucleated in mollusks while undergoing pearl cultivation, resulting an accidental non-bead-cultured pearl. Although a by-product, Keshi is a wonder of nature in its own right, and is valuable and in demand.
